We have recently entered the “constant bloggers” arcade. Although our business industry is mainly focused on serviced offices and company set ups in Dubai, we, at ABCN, wanted to share and connect with our community and enhance their experience of being in the business world by sharing our own tips and tricks.
As serviced office specialist and company formation experts, we tend to focus on developing businesses and enhancing capabilities of entrepreneurs and business men and women. Our offices are based in Dubai, in two of the very prominent locations; Silicon Oasis Free Zone and Business Village, Deira. This has given us an advantage of tackling clients that are mostly interested in these areas and connecting to their circles. What we had also planned for is to connect to other potential clients and provide them with a glimpse of our services to boost their appeal in our services. And what better way to do so than online! Our blog has been a gateway to connect, share and inspire.
We have gathered a few pointers that we use while writing our blogs in order to give you an enriched aspect of what we follow as guidelines:
Write for your customers
Make sure your content is appealing for your reader. Your customers will want to connect and get reliable sources of information. Information might be of the same content, the trick however, is to customize it into your own. Think of what your clients would want to read. Put yourself in their shoes and start the art of blogging to inspire.
Plan your content
Planning is key in everything. Try to note down your ideas on a piece of paper, or even more expedient – on your phone! As long as you have your scribbles, you can adjust and tweak them to get your main path of a specific blog set. Remember to be insightful, interesting and somewhat witty. What captures my eye is an easy to follow blog; make sure your content is simple.
Create valuable content
Content is key. Key to attract your readers and keep them attentive. Your content has to be relatable, correct and have a consistent flow. Relevant content sets you apart from other writers and blogs. You can create relatable content by personalizing the subject matter and including your own encounters with it.
Consistency in blogging
Time management is a major component in success. To build a successful blog you have to maintain your readers’ interest and keep the buzz of it. Blogging is a job itself, whether you choose it to be a full time one of a part time one. Try to blog on a weekly basis, with blogs that are around 400 words. Include images that are interesting and appealing to support your blog. At ABCN, we try to blog twice a week and cover all that we believe might be helpful to our community of entrepreneurs and businesses. Our team is fabulous at their contributions, as we try to have a team member contribute every now and then to keep the content fresh and with a different point of view. (Hint: Guest blogger)
Social media – share share share!
It is the social media era after all! People now live and breathe social media. Sharing their thoughts, selfies and food diaries to name a few. Make it a point to include all the possible social media links for your readers to share your blog/article at ease. Another great tip is connecting with readers who tag you and share your blog. Being active and always spreading a positive note will gain you more followers. Negative comments should also be looked after – just reply back with a note to the person who posted the negative comment to contact you directly via email and make sure you get their contact details and contact them via phone or better yet in person.
